Barn De-Raising

You have all heard of a "Barn Raising" where friends and neighbors help someone erect a barn on their property right.  Well Saturday March 12th 2005 we had a "Barn De-Raising".  A bunch of us helped Keith and Teri Ruf disassemble a metal building on the site of Rich Shamel's old service station and transport it to their place.  Thanks to a bunch of hard working people with screw guns, Little John and his tow truck and a bucket truck from Woodland Marina we had the building down and loaded in about 8 hours.  Click on the link below for some pictures of the operation.
