Mississippi River July 21st & 22nd, 2005 Went up to the river friday so Maureen could practice driving the boat without so much traffic. Spent a little time anchored out in Mason Chute to swim and relax. Saturday we went up to Two Branch Island to do some more chilling out in the heat. Saturday evening went on the Con Trios Yacht Club Full Moon Cruise aboard the Grafton Ferry. The Yacht Club hires the ferry from 10 PM until about 2 AM and we get on board with our lawn chairs and coolers to enjoy a leisurely cruise up and down the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. Live entertainment and food is provided, along with the requisite Porta Potties.
