We went to Texas for the NASCAR races again this year. Eight of us (Bob, Janet, Craig, Connie, Mike, Karen, Maureen and myself) flew down to Dallas and stayed with Connie's cousin Cynthia and her husband Archie. As usual they were the perfect hosts. Archie cooked about 200 pounds of meat for all of us all weekend. We definitely didn't go hungry! This year we skipped the Saturday Nationwide race and the boys hung out with Archie while the girls went shopping. Seems Archie had this patio cover sitting around needing to be assembled for about three years. We put it an his new Bar-B-Q grill together so he could cook us more food! Weather was ideal all weekend and Sunday's Cup Race was great. Gotta give it to Bob, the seats he reserved were awesome. All in all a great time with good friends!
