St. Petersburg Beach Florida, October 2006
Our annual trip to Bon Aire Resort on St. Petersburg Beach, Florida to celebrate Connie and Craig's Anniversary was another great time! Six years and counting, who'da thunk it! Bob, Janet, Maureen and I headed down there on Thursday the 26th of October to spend 5 wonderful days with our friends. The weather was mostly co-operative, little cool and windy a couple of days and then some sunshine and spectacular sunsets the rest of the time. In addition to the Saturday seafood boil on the beach we had a shuffleboard tournament organized by Casey which the Scheafnockers took 1st and 2nd Place, think it was rigged? Craig had even brought in a ringer all the way from Scotland! Monday night several of us went to a local meat market where everyone picked out their own steaks and such to grill on the beach at sunset. Some side trips into St. Pete, John's Pass, Siesta Key and St. Armand's made for a very busy vacation. The Daily "Drink of the Day", great friends, great food, great weather - well, you get the idea!
