Lake of the Ozarks trip, July 2006

Jim and Jan took us down to the Lake of the Ozarks where we stayed in Jan's friend Staci's condo near the Grand Glaize bridge.  Friday, Roger and Dorless took us in their Formula 382 to Franky and Louie's Beach Front Bar & Grill at the 10 mile marker for dinner and drinks.  On the way there and back we stopped at some friends of theirs dock for some socializing.  The Formula has about 1050 horsepower so it handles the lake very comfortably!  Saturday, after a boat ride and some coving out in the Glaize arm of the lake, we took the boat to Shorty Pants Lounge at the 21.2 mile marker for dinner and drinks.  Sunday was spent mostly resting up by the pool and getting ready to come home.  We had a blast with everyone we met and got to see a lot of changes at the lake since our last trip there a few years ago.  Roger even let me take the wheel a few times.  I definitely enjoyed having all that power available.  Tried to figure out a way to swipe one of his engines for my Mariah!  Check out the pics at:
